Greg Mousseau

Founder-led delivery since 2012

Greg Mousseau · Founder · Toronto

Greg leads every engagement and remains accountable from discovery through handoff. Clients work directly with the person making the technical decisions and responsible for the result.

GTA Labs began in 2012 when Greg left BMO and co-founder Alex Zhang left CIBC. The firm grew through referrals and shipped work across financial services, proptech, legal tech, aviation, and maritime.

Today, Greg runs a focused practice supported by AI agents for research, implementation, and QA. When a scope needs more capacity or specialist depth, GTA Labs adds senior design, data, security, and domain contributors around a clearly bounded workstream.

We work comfortably inside established organizations. That means coordinating with operations, IT, data, security, procurement, and executive sponsors, documenting the system boundary, and staging rollout so the business can prove value before expanding.

Greg contributes to the OpenClaw agent platform and builds with the same tools used in client delivery. The point is practical: a small senior team can move quickly without giving up review, documentation, or human accountability.

How We Got Here

The short version so far.

2012
Two engineers quit the banks
Greg left BMO. Alex left CIBC. We started GTA Labs to give clients direct access to senior people who could understand the business problem and remain accountable through delivery.
2012-2023
Engineers and designers only
We stayed senior-led and grew through referrals. Engineers and designers remained close to the client, the business decision, and the production system.
2024
AI agents as force multipliers
We added specialized AI agents to planning, research, implementation, and QA. They increase throughput, while senior people still review decisions and remain responsible for what ships.
Today
Senior-led, no exceptions
A founder leads every engagement. We work directly with the business owner and the technical teams responsible for security, integration, and long-term operation.

How We Work

Every engagement follows the same four-step process.

Clarify
Define the business outcome and acceptance tests. No ambiguity.
Ship
Build the smallest useful and reviewable version. Working software, with the controls and documentation needed to operate it.
Measure
Eval suites, latency budgets, cost tracking. Truthful metrics, not vibes.
Transfer
Full ownership handoff with docs, runbooks, and training. No vendor lock-in.

Our operating principle

Let's build your next win

Bring a workflow, a system constraint, or a target metric. We work directly with the operating team and the people responsible for data, security, and ownership.
